The Pioneers -

Night Owl’s First Four Games After long deliberation, the Night Owl team has decided on the first four games:

  •  Roulette
  •  Blackjack
  •  CoinFlip
  •  Lottery

These games were selected for various reasons, primarily due to popularity and ease of development. Each game serves its purpose and will kick off the revolutionary journey of Night Owl. A lot of time and effort has been put into the ideation, design, and development of these games to ensure an excellent experience for users. With that being said, we would like to walk through how each game works and its functions.

Roulette is a fantastic yet simple game. Its straight forwardness attracts millions of players worldwide, providing them a chance to test their luck. This game consists of a spinning wheel with divisions around its edge that revolves around the base. A ball is spun around the outside of the bowl until it eventually lands in one of the said divisions. As a player, you can bet on what division it will land on.

The divisions are numbered 1 to 35 in alternating red and black patterns. Additionally, there is a green 0.

Before rolling the ball, a player can place bets on what number, color, or section the number will land on. Players are also entitled to make more than one bet per spin. For example, you can bet on a single number as well as a color.

The payout of each bet is based on its probability of occurring. All single number bets are paid out 35 to 1. Betting on red or black pays out 1 to 1.

This game allows for a variety of different bets that will surely entertain its players!

Blackjack is a fun card game where each player attempts to beat the dealer by getting a total count as close to 21 as possible without going over 21.Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10 points, Ace is worth 11 or 1, and any other card is its numerical value.

To win this game, the player’s hand value is to be higher than the dealer’s hand value.

After placing a bet, the dealer will deal one card face up to each player and one card face down to themself. Then they would deal one more card face up to each player and more card to themselves, faceup. After dealing the cards, the players have two cards face-up, while the dealer has one card face-up and one card face-down.

If the player’s hand value is not close to 21, they can ‘hit,’ requesting a new card to add to the value. The risk is that if the hand goes over 21, they automatically lose.

The payout for each hand in blackjack is 1 to 1. If you get blackjack, it is 3 to 2.

CoinFlip

The simplest of all the games, this is played how the name states. A coin is flipped, and the player can bet on either Heads or Tails. If the coin lands with their selected choice face-up, they win the payout of 1 to 1.
